Summary
Brevma is a service operated by Unixo Sarl, a company based in Geneva, Switzerland.
We collect only the information reasonably necessary to communicate with prospective clients, establish and manage client relationships, issue invoices, and provide Brevma’s briefing and reporting services.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use client or prospect information for advertising or marketing, and we do not disclose it to third parties for their own independent purposes.
Information used with external artificial intelligence services is de-identified, minimised and, where appropriate, divided into separate extracts. Client names and contact details are not submitted to these services, and submitted information is not used to train general-purpose AI models.
1. Who is responsible for your information?
For the purposes of applicable data-protection laws, Unixo Sarl is responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy, except where it processes information solely on the documented instructions of a client.

2. Information we collect
Depending on your relationship with Brevma, we may collect:
- your name;
- your professional email address;
- your job title, where relevant;
- the name of your company;
- the content of communications sent to us;
- contractual and invoicing information;
- information provided by a client that is necessary to understand its business and prepare its briefs or reports.
There is currently no contact form on the Brevma website. People who wish to contact us may do so by email.
Our website does not currently use analytics, advertising cookies or behavioural tracking technologies.
Our website infrastructure may nevertheless process limited technical information necessary to deliver and secure the website, such as an IP address, access time, browser information and technical logs.
3. How we use information
We use personal information only where reasonably necessary to:
- respond to enquiries;
- discuss a possible client relationship;
- enter into and manage a contract;
- understand a client’s requirements;
- prepare and deliver briefs, reports and related services;
- communicate with clients about the service;
- issue invoices and maintain legally required business records;
- maintain the reliability and security of our services;
- comply with applicable legal obligations;
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not use prospect or client information to send newsletters or unrelated marketing communications.
We do not use confidential information provided by one client to provide services to another client.
4. Legal grounds for processing
Where European data-protection law applies, we generally process personal information on the following grounds:
- steps before entering into a contract, such as responding to a prospective client;
- performance of a contract, where the information is necessary to provide the requested service;
- legitimate interests, including communicating with professional contacts, operating and securing the service, and managing our business;
- compliance with legal obligations, including accounting, invoicing and regulatory requirements;
- consent, where consent is specifically requested and legally required.
5. External service providers and artificial intelligence
We may use a limited number of technical service providers where necessary to operate Brevma and provide its services. These may include email, infrastructure, storage, invoicing and artificial intelligence service providers.
These providers are used only to support Brevma’s operations and are not authorised by Brevma to use client information for their own advertising or independent marketing purposes.
Before information is submitted to an external artificial intelligence service, Brevma:
- removes direct identifiers, including client names and contact details;
- limits the information to what is necessary for the relevant task;
- divides information into separate extracts where appropriate;
- uses service configurations under which submitted information is not used to train general-purpose AI models.
Removing direct identifiers and dividing information reduces the risk of identification. Brevma nevertheless continues to handle such information carefully and does not assume that information is legally anonymous merely because a company name has been removed.
6. Sale and disclosure of information
Brevma does not sell or rent personal information.
Brevma does not share personal information for behavioural advertising or provide it to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Information may be disclosed only:
- to service providers necessary to operate and provide the service;
- where requested or authorised by the client;
- where required by applicable law or a valid legal order;
- where reasonably necessary to protect Brevma’s legal rights, security or property.
7. International processing
Brevma is operated from Switzerland. Some technical service providers may process information in other countries.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, Brevma applies the safeguards required by applicable law. Depending on the destination and provider, these safeguards may include an adequacy decision, recognised contractual protections or another legally permitted transfer mechanism.
8. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
In particular:
- communications with a prospective client that do not result in a client relationship are normally deleted within 90 days after the last meaningful communication;
- client information necessary to provide the service is retained for the duration of the client relationship;
- confidential materials and operational information used to prepare reports are normally deleted within 30 days after the end of the client relationship;
- information may be deleted earlier following a valid request;
- contracts, invoices and accounting records may be retained for the period required by applicable law;
- limited information may be retained where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Backup copies may remain temporarily until they are securely overwritten or deleted as part of normal backup cycles.
9. Your rights
Depending on the law applicable to you, you may have the right to:
- request access to your personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of your information;
- request restriction of certain processing;
- object to certain processing;
- request a portable copy of certain information;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;

10. Security
Brevma applies reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information processed.
These measures include limiting the information collected and disclosed, restricting access to information, removing direct identifiers before using external AI services, and deleting information when it is no longer required.
No electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our service, technical providers or legal obligations change.
The current version will be published on our website with the date of the latest update.
If we introduce a contact form, analytics, advertising technologies, non-essential cookies or materially different uses of personal information, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when those changes take effect.
